Monel 400 is a kind of the most consumable, useful and excellent comprehensive performance corrosion resistant alloy. The alloy has excellent corrosion resistance in hydrofluoric acid and fluorine gas medium, as well as in the hot strong alkali. It is also resistant to neutral solution, water and sea water, atmosphere, organic compounds. An important feature of the alloy is generally not produce stress corrosion crack.
